Here comes the sun...a hand print craft!

We love hand print crafts and we love spring so this craft was a perfect spring break activity for the girls! This is great for summer too! I love to do crafts with stuff you already have around the house that way you don't have to go out and buy anything!

Supplies:
  • Paint(any colors really but we chose yellow and black. Jade added a little pink to hers!)
  • Paint brush(for the sun's details)
  • Paper
  • Hands!

Start by dipping your little one's hand in the paint. Make a hand print with fingers facing the top left corner of the paper.

Your first hand print will look like this.

For your second hand print have fingers facing the top right corner of the paper. Your child's palm should be printing right over the first palm print for the sun's center.

Like this...

For your third hand print turn your paper upside down and repeat the last two steps making sure the palm is always in the center.

It should look like a sun!

Your little one will look a little like this... lol

Use your black paint to add details to your sun!

Jade gave her sun pink lipstick! :)

Feel free to email me your sun artwork! The girls would love to see them! peacelovekids@yahoo.com

You are my child

I am your parent, you are
My child.
I am your quiet place, you are
My wild.

I am your calm face, you are
My giggle.
I am your wait, you are
My wiggle.

I am your dinner, you are
My chocolate cake.
I am your bedtime you are
My wide awake.

I am your lulluby, you are
My peek a boo.
I am your good night kiss, you are
